Yoga or chair yoga – In our session we will practice gentle hatha yoga also incorporating some restorative poses, including breathing, and a series of postures that promote general well-being as well as relaxation. There will also be a chair yoga option available.
Sound bath – Sound healing is an ancient art used for thousands of years for calming and tuning the mind while re-balancing the body by releasing tension and subtle energetic blockages. A sound bath is a deeply relaxing and simple yet profound way to connect with the centre of our being. You will be bathed in the healing sounds many instruments including Tibetan Singing Bowl, crystal bowls, Gong, Hand pan, Shamanic Drum, Sansula, Koshi Bells, and Rainstick. I will immerse you in a soothing soundscape, playing around and over the body so that the vibrations can be fully absorbed and appreciated whilst you lie down comfortably on a mat.
Yoga Nidra meditation – Yoga nidra (also known as yogic sleep) is a wonderful technique for relaxing the body and the mind. Yoga nidra can be as restful and restorative as sleep, where we we learn to be between the states of wakefulness and sleep whilst remaining fully conscious. Yoga Nidra takes us into a state of harmony and restfulness. From here, we can experience healing, restore ourselves and awaken to our deep self. Giving your mind and body an extra window of deep relaxation enables us to enjoy a greater sense of well-being!
Breathwork – Of course we breathe every moment of everyday without even giving it a second thought most of the time, but by harnessing the breath with specific breathing practices we can affect positive changes in our lives. These techniques can slow things down, help pain management, improve sleep and provide tools for dealing with anxiety. Breathwork provides a wealth of strategies for dealing with the uncertainties of our day to day lives.
Somatics – Somatics involves gentle movement that emphasises the connection between the mind and body, focusing on internal sensations, perceptions, and experiences. It uses the mind-body connection to help you survey your internal self and listen to signals from your body on pain, discomfort, or imbalance. Somatics emphasises the individual’s internal experience of the body, rather than external appearances or external observation.

“A Beautifully Nourishing Experience – I recently attended a retreat day and it was truly a wonderful experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was calm, welcoming, and deeply restorative – exactly what I needed. Claudine brought such a radiant, grounding energy to the day. You could really feel the love and intention behind everything she did. Nothing was too much trouble – she and her family went above and beyond to make everyone feel comfortable, supported, and seen. The time and care they dedicated to the space and the experience were just fab. Each activity was thoughtfully led and complemented the others perfectly. The mandala making was creative and meditative, the sound bath and yoga were deeply relaxing, and the breathwork was powerful and centering. I left feeling lighter, more connected, and truly grateful. Thank you, Claudine, for creating such a special space.” Bharvi
“I had a fabulous day at Claudine’s full day retreat. The location was lovely and peaceful. I really enjoyed the Mandala making, I didn’t realise my creative side. We did lots of meditation including a walking meditation which was very calming. Lunch was delicious and lots of it, especially enjoying the home made brownies. We finished the day with yoga, breath work and a lovely relaxing sound bath. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to escape from the hustle and bustle of life and be surrounded with peace, calm and tranquillity. Cannot wait for the next one.” Fiona
