I also provide sound baths in Oakham, Rutland and Tilton on the Hill, Leicester and have over 9 years experience of teaching with 42 five star reviews on Google. Other offerings include breathwork, somatics, meditation and mindfulness as well as yoga nidra meditation.

I lead all yoga classes, sound baths and retreats and am a highly experienced teacher with over 9 years experience, having studied extensively completing a variety of courses. I am qualified and fully insured to teach adults, children & teens yoga, breathwork, somatics, meditation & mindfulness and sound healing having qualified with nationally and internationally renowned teachers. I completed yoga training for adults, pregnancy, chair yoga and meditation with Anne-Marie Newman, Sunpower Yoga (Yoga Alliance 200hrs certified) back in 2016, for children with Young Yogi Academy (accredited by IYN), Teen Yoga with Charlotta Martinus, (accredited by IYN) and Yoga for ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) & ADHD with Jyoti Emanuel, Special Yoga (accredited by IYN.) Somatics with Charlotte Watts, Breathwork with Heather Mason at the Minded Institute, and Yoga Nidra with Dawn Wright. I’m currently studying for my 500 hour qualification with My Vinyasa Practice and hold a full DBS and a first aid certificate.
There are many practitioners who facilitate Sound Baths without training or insurance. I am a fully insured, and extensively trained, having facilitated Sound Baths and individual Sound Healing for over 6 years. Training completed with Anne Malone and the world renowned Sound Healing Academy.
I was advised to begin practicing yoga to help relieve mental health problems and immediately found it to be hugely beneficial in managing my symptoms. I quickly realised it was a powerful tool to relax and calm the body and mind, building a yoga and meditation practice into my daily life. Also suffering regularly from Sciatic pain, I found my yoga practice not only relievensymptoms, but eventually make sciatic problems a thing of the past. I have now been practicing yoga and meditation for over 25 years and have a wealth of experience to offer, particularly in mental health, due to my own experience in this area. I am passionate about sharing the benefits of yoga, meditation, sound healing, breathwork, somatics, meditation snd mindfulness to as many people as possible, both adults and children alike through my teaching, as it has helped me so much over the years. Sunshine and light yoga classes involve relaxation and breathing exercises, together with yoga postures to promote a relaxed, healthy mind and body. The postures (asanas) aim to stretch out the body, improve strength and flexibility, as well as general fitness and health. The guided relaxation and mindfulness calms the body and mind.
Yoga is suitable for all ages and levels of fitness. Please contact me in order to book in prior to attending a yoga class, so we can discuss any specific needs with you. I offer adaptations for those who may require it.
Sound healing is an ancient art used for thousands of years for calming and tuning the mind while re-balancing the body by releasing tension and subtle energetic blockages. A sound bath is deeply relaxing and simple yet profound way to connect with the centre of our being. I use the healing sounds of Tibetan Singing Bowls, Crystal bowls, Gongs, Hang pan, Shamanic Drum, Flow chines, Koshi Bells, Rainstick and Native American Flute to name but a few.
