Sumshine and Light provides Sound baths in Leicester, for businesses, schools, charities, groups of friends, birthday parties, hen parties with a difference and other organisations. These can be as a one off, or regular sessions to provide an enjoyable, relaxing experience for overall well-being and creating a calm and peaceful state of mind.
I work with groups with SEN and PMLD, as well as groups looking for different activities and experiences.
Sound baths are perfect for all ages and provide total relaxation through immersion in healing sounds; a great anecdote for busy, stressful lives. Sound healing has been around for thousands of years for stilling and revitalising the mind. It also balances the body by releasing stress and tension. A sound bath is a deeply relaxing experience and creates a real sense of peace for participants.
I create a soothing soundscape, through sound vibrations whilst participants lie down comfortably on a mat or sit in a chair. I use various instruments including the Singing Bowl, Gong, Hand pan, Shamanic Drum, Sansula, Koshi Bells and Rainstick, for a gentle relaxing experience.
For adults sound baths can provide a welcome respite from the demands of working life. For children and young people, it is an experience that allows them to switch off outside pressures and release from difficult or heightened emotions. Sound baths can also be particularly beneficial for those with special needs.

“My women’s group recently organised a sound bath with Claudine for our members. Before the session we were sent details of what to expect and a bit about what a sound bath is.
On arrival we were greeted by a warm and beautifully lit room with mats laid out ready for each of us. Over the next hour we enjoyed sounds, vibrations and gentle words from Claudine which sent us off into a state deep relaxation.
Each of us had our own sound and vibration experience as Claudine walked around the room with her equipment- this was a lovely touch as it felt very personal and individual.
It was a fantastic experience and we all felt relaxed and stress free afterwards!“
